Yeah that is somewhat hard to define. I deal with a shop here locally for some fabrication from time to time and the work is pretty up and down in terms of quality. Some times the work will turn out great and sometimes it looks like a 5 year old welded it. But the work is always functionally sound, their pricing is fair, and they are quick and courteous. So I would say they are a good shop but the inconsistent work keeps me from having them fabricate larger more complex things even though they claim they can do just about anything.
Charles, the thing I appreciate most about BHR is that there are no games and there is accountability and responsibility. When I order something I am given an estimated date of delivery and 99.9% of the time I have gotten my items within the estimated time frame. In the event that there was a snag which was going to cause a delay or cause any other issue, I was always kept abreast of the situation and given choices as to how I wished to proceed. I was never pawned off on anyone else and I was never given any blame game crap. I have also had similar good experiences with Mazmart, Jegs, sparkplugs.com, Pineapple racing, Prosport gauges, and a couple others I am sure I am forgetting.

Congrats, I hope the ribs were not injured on the honeymoon, I have had broken ribs playing ball in high school, it is the worst pain I have endured.
But **** happens, and as long as the situation is explained and the product delivered then I doubt most reasonable people would have a problem with it and would appreciate the consideration. The real problem is when there is no communication, no explanation, and no product.

I had a terrible experience even thoguh I did the research. Timing is also important. When I did the research like many other, I only found very good reviews on Rotrix in Pretoria South Africa which is owned and run by "rotary guru" Karel. About 80% was made by one person and only one "kinda" bad review about time lines and the guy who posted got slaughtered by other forum members.
So I like many others have taken my car to this company only to get severely burned on terms of not getting what you paid for, having endless faults and problem, waiting months passed deadlines, and an all round frustrating experience and dissapointments.
Here is a link in this forum with links to other forums and at least 6 extemely frustrated clients to one "happy client" who did enough positive PR to lead us to this company.

Pleae beware of this company and try to get a more diverse review. The mistake I made was to assume so many posts on how great this company was would mean it was good but I didn't take into account that it was one person making a lot of noise in a lot of places.
Those who had bad experiences were too afraid to alienate the tuner as they are few and rare in Gauteng, South Africa so they kept quite with the hope that he will sort their stuff out. I was guilty as well so you have noticed how diplomatic I was in my initial post trying to get answers on my car which seemed to have disappeared of the face of the earth with the tuner and the company that I went to only to find out it moved months ago with no information and no one knowing where it moved to. I reallised my being quiet will result in more innocent people with dreams will not see the full picture and have the traumatic experience I had so I had to speak up and now there are many many more who are sharing similar experiences.

That experience sounds familiar. Definitely take into consideration who is hyping a particular company, etc. A lot of people hype a company even though they have never even worked directly with that company on a large project. Even you are buying a small part of service then there is not much risk so you can take chances but if you are going to spend a few grand or more then you need to speak directly with people that have spent that much with the company.
