Nice car. I was also looking at the Z and G35 coupe when car shopping. But I ended up with an RX-8.
Just enjoy your car. There will always be people who like or dislike your car. I know that not everyone is a fan of my car. But that doesn't bother me.

I have logged many miles in a Z.
Great cars . . . . fun to drive, and of course the torque. They will last a long time, they get okay mileage, they even have a decent stereo.
But to me, they are like the Evo's . . . . No soul, No heart, No feedback, and every teenager on the block has one

This thread is pretty sad, all the fanbois come to weigh in and hate on another car to make themselves feel better about their purchase. The guy had problems with his RX-8, he got a new car and loves it so far, maybe grow up a little congratulate him and move on.

I love the 350Z and if given the option to trade in my 8 for a Z with similar miles and year I probably would. But not for something like that. God is that thing ever fugly.

i personally like the nismo z but i think that its way overpriced for what you get from it, just like the mugen civic si. but it looks good, enjoy it! don't be a douche bag!

To the OP's defence i think the Nismo Z is smoking compared to the standard 350z, my opinion, but would i ever trade a rx8 (soon to have one) for a 350z, i would have to say NO.
Good car but, hope u enjoy it.

I think they look good, but I would never ever trade my 8 for one. Whenever I feel the need for torque, I just borrow my dad's z, and then I get back in my 8 and realize how lucky I am that I didn't do something stupid, like buy a Z

What you call stupid others call genius. Yes the OP should have known what this thread would turn into. Not much different from what it would look like if someone said on a Z forum that they were going to buy an 8. Fanbois there just like here. I personally don't like the Nismo Z but do love the way it performs. As for handling I think the difference between the two cars is overstated. Get a tight enough turn and eventualy you will have a road where the 8 can get away from the Z much like putting a long straight away will have the Z much further down the road. Different strokes for different folks. Congratulations and enjoy your car.
