Seriously, I have to agree, Ike. We all love our cars, but I like a lot of things about lots of other cars, even Z-cars, just can't buy 'em all 'cause I'm not Jay Leno.

 

It's ok. Looks more like a ***** extension purchase than anything. The rims look good with the white but the wing and bumper do nothing for it. Have fun with it.

 

If I could... I would buy both. the Z and the RX8.

rx-8... smooth, comfy ride with 4 seats...
the z... performance, power, with a bully look... but with only 2 seats.

I want EVERYTHING, damnit!!!

to hell with the rx-8 and Z.. i'll go drool over an M5. hehehehehehe.

Thats one of the down sides to a web site devoted soley to one car. If you sell it and get something else it seems like you are disowned.

But not entirely, as several prior/multi car owners still post here.

Still it seems like "hey, glad you enjoyed the RX8,....wait, you traded it in on something else,....a 350Z?!?!.....

 

"You can always make a RX-8 faster (via FI kit), but you can NOT take the UGLY out of a 350Z."

I would never trade for a current model 350Z and they have a bag load of problems too, so anybody thinking a switch over will be nirvana is in fantasy land.

Lastly, the RX-8 has 4 seats and chicks (and people in general) love looking at it (especially Mazdaspeed ones). The 350Z gets little love. People barely blink when seeing them and they have only 2 seats. However, I have seen 350Zs with nice body kits, though the one shown is not one of those. When it comes to 2 seaters, there are a lot of nicer looking ones than the 350Z.

This thread sure has grown. I do have to say that my friend and I thought the interior materials used in the Z are not very good. Hopefully revised one will rectify.

 

I definitely have to agree. I sat in my buddies Z and the interior felt cheap, I felt like i was in the back seat of a police cruiser all plastic. That is just my opinion. It's nice but no class.

 

Even the G35's interior felt cheap to me, except the leather on the seats was very high quality.

I'm glad that you are happy now, however I would like to express my opinion which is that the Nismo Z looks like something right out of The Fast and the Furious.

 

it looks good man. be happy with your new car. Don't mind the haters on this site.

amen to that! However, I do think the rear bumper is a little....a little...well just plain ugly. Enjoy the car man lord knows I'll enjoy mine it's gr8

OMG not another one!!! i was a formula d this weekend and i SWEAR to F8ckn God, nothing but Zs i mustve seen at least 80 zs and about 4 8s, 2 were drift 8s and the other 2 were mine and one show....

 

8's gets chicks wet.

 

and Z's get dudes wet. I don't want wet dudes in my car.
