I'm looking at an AEM CAI, but I don't want to void my warranty. Does anyone know whether or not that cold air intake voids it or if there are any cold air intakes that do void the warranty in case I find one I want more than the AEM?

No, unless for some reason your CAI damages the engine. Which it shouldn't.

Nope should be fine, although depending on the dealership, they will try to use every excuse in the book if something goes wrong, to not do the warrenty work. So they might try to blame something on CAI if something goes wrong.

It shouldn't, but most Mazda's (especially in NJ) will hassle you.

Well I am actually friends with the owner of the dealership and right now I work for him, so I don't think he would try anything like that. Thanks guys

Still keep the OEM part.

Always swap it out when going to the dealership whenever seeking for repairs under warranty.

Always.

Every firm is rated for carbon emmisions. Then they are give credits. Any increase in emmisions results in you buying carbon credit. Problem is all the big companies like coal will buy them out so the little guy can't afford it.

Want to expand your business. Can't need to buy carbon credit. Too bad you can't afford that.

so you work at a mazda dealer and you felt that you needed to put JUST ANOTHER thread about warranties and an intake on this forum INSTEAD of asking say someone at your job? ok

I also recommend keeping your OEM just to be safe.....

he said he's friends with the owner ofthe dealership and now he's working for him(ok maybe it's not mazda but I would say yes)...either way could have easily asked "the owner"

That's so contradictive.

I got the mazdaspeed CAI and they never have a problem with it, from what i've read AEM is the exact thing just a diff sticker on it so you should be fine.
