Called my dealer...lol...Paint peel
Well I called my Dealership about the Cargo Organizer that I am supposed to be getting for free from them. It is on backorder and should be in in about 2 weeks. While on the phone the dealership informed me that they have the flash for my car now and they are ready to begin the work. I haven't received the letter yet but it looks like it is set to go.
Hopefully they can get all this taken care of without issue. When I had the car in for tinting, and spoiler and such I took pictures before I took the car in. When I got the car home I noticed that I have paint peeling on the trunk(deck lid) I'll post pictures in a little while. Anyway I just wanted to post and also wanted to see if any other 8's are having this paint problem
*Edit: Here are the pictures, the damaged area is outlined in yellow. The whole little "bead" of paint is cracked and peeling and leaving a white unpainted line...I also don't know what to do to get rid of those water spots. Anyone else have those?

Well...........
When I bought my Shinka everything looked good. Then while they were cleaning it up to take it home, they pull me back into the service area to show me a fingernail sized paint chip (saw a slight ding later) on the pasenger rear wheel well. It wasn't there when I took it for a test drive.
They claimed it "must have been a paint bubble that got rubbed off". hahahahaha, yeah right, and I've got some ocean front property I'd like to talk to you about.
Needless to say it is being fixed, but it was OBVIOUSLY a result of someone hitting it accidentally (hence the slight dent).

Man that's some nasty peeling! Did you let the dealer know about it?

Yup my Shinka is all flashed and ready to go...recall COMPLETE!!
As far as the paint...I took it in and was told it is a seam that never fully dries...I watched the lady peel it off to my horror. FREAKY, but she ordered touch up paint and it is gonna be fixed Tuesday. She said the seam never fully cures. I looked at a few other 8's and I didn't see the seam. Not sure why mine had it but whatever. Good news is it is going to be fixed.

You also asked how to get rid of water spots. I had ones that are really hard to remove; they were actually etched into the paint, and Meguiare's Scratch-X took them right off with no scratching. Awesome stuff.

Cause of peeling paint
I can almost guarantee the cause of peeling paint is the area affected had been resprayed (see below for my updated opinion!). Many cars get minor lot damage (scrapes, bumps and scratches) during moving and handling at the dealership. Unfortunately, the prep work by the dealer body shops tends to be minimal and the new paint doesn't fully adhere to the film of wax and dirt so it eventually peels. The other possibility is the panel was flexed (bumped), but peeling is very unlikely with original paint on cars today.
I would get the opinion of a good bodyshop as to why the peeling has occured. Letting the dealer use a touchup brush (I assume that is what they mean) is ridiculous. If the panel was refinished improperly, they should redo it correctly which means, sand and prep BEFORE paint!
After looking at the pictures a bit closer - the paint on your trunklid looks more like chipping of original paint (the pictures are blurred which isn't helping). They may have taken the trunklid off the car to work on it and neglected to put something under it? The blue bumper with peeling paint looks like what I described above.
