Can anyone help

Okay so I drive an 05 manual transmition rx8 with about 11k miles ill be driving down the road and ill shifts from second to third and then ill hear a very vague grinding sounds for about 3 seconds it happens about six out of every ten times, with or without the AC on. I took it to the dealership but they had no clue what the problem was can anyone help....

Wish I could help, but never had that problem. Maybe your transmission was abused and your synchronizers are goin'.

but it dosent sounds like its comming from the tranny it sounds more like a vague grinding sound from the right wheel and it will also sonds when im in 3rd at about 4k rpm for about 3 seconds

From the right wheel? You sure 'grinding' is the right word?

Your car is (or should be) under warranty. Take it to the dealer, see if you can duplicate it for them. If so, have them deal with it under warranty. If not. have them document that you brought it in with that complaint, so that there's a trail in the event "it" causes serious damage right after the warranty expires.
