The best car magazine, period, is Car & Driver, but they don't just cover the RX-8, of course.

The best car magazine columnist, however, is Peter Egan from Road & Track.

I think the owners of this site also own "RX-Tuner" magazine or something like that ...

Congrats on the new wheels!

wtf. Car and driver is complete trash. All american car magazines are complete trash. I find EVO to be a good car magazine, occasional article about the 8.

That said, there is mazda sport magazine, it's all mazda, obviously, so there is a fair deal of content about hte 8. I can't really judge the content, haven't really read it.

^^funny sh..t
The best car magazines are IMO
MazdaSport And RXTunner (i subscribe to both)

I also Like SCC sport compact car but I check it out on the news stands before buying it. sometimes the have Way too much civic in them ( litle is ok once a year but not a whole magacine)
Import Tunner can also be cool once every blue moon.

Car and driver can be good but I prefer Road and track on that category of magazine (its a LITTLE biased to europen cars tho.)

What's the best one depends on what you want out of it. I will second the suggestion that most of the mainstream car magazines are fluff though perhaps Car and Driver is the best of the fluff. You might want to look at Grassroots Motorsports - www.grmotorsports.com

For American mags Car and Driver is by far the best IMO, EVO and other UK mags can be a lot of fun to read but mainly because they contain a lot of cars that we don't get here

I like Autoweek. They seem less advertising driven in that they actually state negative opinions and don't gloss over negatives. An added bonus is, they cover racing.

IMO the 2 best car mags are :

Sport Compact Car and Grassroots Motorsports.....lots of good articles and not to much rice-a-roni.

Also the RX tuner isnt to bad.

I've subscribed to Road & Track since 1988, and have read the thing since around '85. I used to think it was the best thing since sliced bread. Now I'm thoroughly disappointed with the magazine since about 2 years ago when they started overhauling it. With the exception of Side Glances, most of the magazine is useless... and they should rename the thing to "Road" since their "Track" coverage sucks more than anything. I've got a year left on my subscription, unless they change something between now and then, I'll be looking for a new magazine too.
