Unhappy Canzoomer - Horn troubles?

I must say, the installation of the Cz stage 1.1 was quite easy... the hardest part was installing and clipping on the wires. IT is a TIGHT fit.

Anyhow,
before the first 75miles or so, i was pretty damn pissed off because the car actually seemed slower than before. I have fun the fastest of 6.5 0-60time when my fastest was 5.85. Then, after 130miles of driving hard, and "abusing" or unleashing the renesis engine, i clocked fastest at 5.43 in 0-60.

However, before i timed my 0-60 again, i was just on an oceanside highway, and i noticed something. My horn went "out." Instead of having the distinct 8 growl horn it had before, It now has a little BITCH pinto horn, or it sounds much like a f*ing golf cart horn. I am very happy with the cz, but the horn is gone. I am embarassed to press it... that is how pathetic it soudns -- something liek a clown car horn... ugh...

Any ideas why this might be the case? And i was just interested and curious, do they make ferrari horn, or horns that soudn like ferarri horns... because i want to get those.

If you have any questions on the cz, feel free to pm me, as well as if you have any ideas on the horn situation!!!

thanks people!!

I haven't looked at the horn since I am on the road, but I am willing to bet it is a dual note system (two horns) and one of the horns has roached out. Now you are left with just one note or horn and you sound like a bitch (your car that is). Try finding the horns and disconnecting one and then the other to see if this is the problem. Usually the horns just have push on power connectors.

Correct. That is usually how horns work these days. There are two distict horns, one is a high note, and one is a low note. Together, they give the ear splitting growl, but if one goes out, which it sounds like your low horn has, it souldn't like a golf cart horn. Take it to Mazda, I'm sure they'll fix it under warranty.
