they are full of it on the loaner....i got one for a tail light replacement...what dealer is this any way?....did you add them to good guy/bad guy?...i just wanna make sure i never go there

Where is the S/C thread? I searched and can't seem to find it. Where is there a good guy/bad guy thread? I certainly will add them!

I got no oompf after 5k rpms.
me too you mentioned this again in another thread and i was thinking " bad coils" before i saw it was you. have them check your coils. do a search here for "burnt coils" or "burned coils" and you should be able to find a couple of pics on how to tell by visual inspection if they are bad.

the coils are easy to check, you check the 3 leads like you would a transistor. The manual has the readings you should be getting..

In my experience however, bad coils do not limit power in the Upper ranges, rather it's more < 5k. You'd get DANGEROUSLY low power and near stalling under 5k, to the point that you need a mile of free space to pull out in traffic.

YW, I could be wrong too, but i messed with the coiles a bit.. ALso, I think i've previously pozsted the readings you should be getting from the coil test.
