Car buying dilema

Ok so am a complete rotary fanatic, have been since I first owned an 84 GSL-SE about 10 years ago. I have been planning on purchasing a new 8, white, cash with the S-Plan, loaded and adding the MS body kit, Axis rims (gunmetal color) because I think this car looks and is amazing. Another reason is for a long time you couldn't get an FD that some punk hadn't ruined, or didn't have have a blown engine rebuilt by some shady mazda mechanic. Now today I was bored at work and decided to look on Ebay and see several unmodified, low mileage (under 50K) FD's for sale that will probably go for 18K or less. I was thinking that I would be spending about 36-38K on the 8 to get it how I wanted it. Well with 18K for an FD and dropping about 10-15K into it (M2 Stage 3 upgrade, rims, stereo, and maybe suspension) I could have a DEMON of a car. I have always loved the looks of the FD, one of the most beautiful cars ever made. I dont have kids, just me an my girl so I dont need more that 2 seats and I take good care of my cars so maintenance would not be an issue. I now have a difficult decision ahead of me . . . any input would be very much appreciated.

Holy crap.

I want that. I need to sell a kidney or something to get some quick cash. That is a beautiful car. It seems to be one of those to good to be true auctions though.
Like new, low miles. Somebody actually knew how to take care of it.
Reserve isn't met yet either. Probably go for more than my 8.
