Red face car having trouble starting sometimes? maybe i can help (M/T)

if your car is having trouble starting sometimes, maybe the technique that i use may help you, wont work all the time but i find it that my car usually starts up better and faster than the cranking... what i do to start my car is to put the car in neutral and turn the key like you would normally start it but don't put in the clutch, wait about 2-3 sec and then push in clutch. VROOM! lmao hope this helps to some of you that are having troubles. like i said it works most of the time... if anyone else has any good techniques feel free to post them up!

^prob that the fuel pump is already on when you let is sit for a few seconds with the key on(on positon not start position) but I have driven diesels all my life so I still "prime" with key on like a diesel so it's a habit to give it a few seconds before the start.....and mine rarely is longer cranking.

I believe that the theory being that you build full fuel pressure, before turning over the engine. This would allow the fuel injectors to work at optimum, rather than not spraying at their best for the first few revolutions of the engine.

Is the key turned the whole time, or do you release the key and wait 3 seconds, then turn the key again with clutch?
