Car in for recall

I took my car in to replace the broken latch on the front cup cover. They ordered a new one. They said they had to replace the entire console. In any case it came back with a hole in the right front of the cup holder. From what I can tell it is a access opening for the shifter or wires. In any case it is missing a cover. I'll call them on that tomorrow. The did my recall check and said they found something, but would not say what. They ordered parts but wouldn't say what they were. Posssibly the service writer just didn't have a clue. If they do the "R" flash how do I tell.

Get a copy of the paperwork after the service is performed. It should say something to the effect of "PCM... 'R' " with a bunch of numbers in between... or something like that. Gomez posted it in the recall thread in the tech section. In any regards, get a copy of the paperwork and it'll tell you.

The small plastic part covers the e-brake adjustment screw.
