My 06 has never shocked me but everything else always seems to, especially my work station. I touched the wall divider, it shocked me, and and then when I reached for something on the deck as my arm was reaching over a small desk fan, the fan turned itself on.
My headphones shock me. My keyboard shocks me. My mouse shocks me. The door shocks me.
My car is nice to me.

During the winter months I get shocked probably 20 or so times a day. It gets so bad I have to make sure I've touched something metal recently when I go to kiss my wife. I've even been shocked through my leather jacket. I'm just glad I had the padding that time, that one really would have hurt.

It's spring - time to put all the fuzzy sweaters away for a few months.
BunnyGirl - I can't believe you get shocked all the time in Portland. When I lived there the ambient humidity damped down our ability to build up a decent static charge. I worked in an electronics lab so we had ESD testers and meters to back up our ancedotal evidence of the lack of static charge. Of course, from there I moved to Revo, NV and rediscovered the joys of a mighty static shock.
Seriously, I don't think my `04 with cloth seats has shocked me often and certainly not badly. Not as bad nearly as many other cars I've driven in upstate NY.
