Sweet, so there is at least one RX-8 driving around in the Tampa area. If you ever see a guy driving a white second gen RX-7 waving at you, it could be me!

I was chatting with a Circuit City employee last night when I went in there to see what my options are for satellite radio when I get my 8. I told him I was getting a new car in about a month, he said "oh yeah, what are you getting?" When I told him what it was, he got very excited -- turns out he's an '85 RX-7 owner and is very enthusiastic about the 8. He knew a lot more about it than I would have expected.

I live about 5 miles from Tom (TJRX8). We need to organize a local meet when we all get our cars.

I was sitting in our conference room today, which has windows facing the parking lot. I saw a car pull into the parking lot and park next to my car, and a couple of guys got out and were walking around the car, pointing and nodding, peering through the windows, etc. for about 3 minutes. Then they got in their car and drove off. I was dying to go out there and show it off to them!

Hi Guys,

Can I keep the 8 out of Crestview? That is like the only place in this part of the Panhandle I have yet to visit!

But seriously, I would rather wait until I can take a trip up to the I10 Walmart and park it next to a Velocity Red RX-8 that will be quite envious about the fact that it is not WINNING BLUE:D :D

I really want you to enjoy the excitement of being the first in Crestview to get the RX-8, so I'll stay down here in the south part of the county.

I have had such an amazing experience in this car, and I wish everyone will have this much fun, and get this much attention, in their new RX-8!
