Car won't start. How do I know if it's flooded?
It cranks over and i can smell the gas.. it stumbles allot like it wants to start but no nice.
I ended up killing the battery trying to start it so I used my 600amp Eliminator PowerBox booster and I spent another 10mins trying to start it and nothing.
Is it flooded?

yikes.. you did the oil into intake port de-flood?
Well, unless your plugs are completely fouled. it should start up with the powerbox to make sure it gets the rpm's needed to start up. have you gone 30k on these plugs? i'd try again pulling the injector fuse, so it cycles without pumping fuel (Dont pull the fuel pump relay). Try that twice, then put the fuse back in and try to start it up normally.
My guess is the plugs are soaked with fuel. the turnover with the gas pedal down is suppose to disable the fuel injector from spraying during turnover. But pulling the fuse will make sure.
Unless you have a dead coil, you might have to change the plugs.
best of luck

I did not read the link but did you do what the manual says? My wife flooded my car but I was able to start it. I hooked up jumper cables to her MDX and then followed the procedures in the manual. The only thing I did different was try to start the car for 20 seconds. Eventually it started and did not have to take it to the dealership.

Oh yeah one more thing I did different. After a few attempts to start the car with the peddle to the floor to not add any additional fuel, I cranked the motor with my foot off the peddle and it started.

Nothing I have read is working and I am starting to think my coils are finished.
They have been acting up since December so I ordered the Mazsport ignition solution and they still have not shipped them to me yet.
I can't even throw money at the problem to solve it.

Right now thats impossible. The car is stuck on the side of the road under 2ft of snow.

ahh Quebec Canada... i know i know.. what other Quebec is there sorry to here that man.
There is a TSB that gives a step by step walk through on how to test the coils with a volt meter. Instead of pulling the plugs, if you have an extra set of wires & spark plug, you can pull the main one off, and plug in a test/temp plug/wire set to 1 of them, and see if they all fire, and go to the next one until all 4 are tested....
That won't require getting underneath.

I just got the same thing last week, car sit there for 3 days , I had tried everything here as I learn and read but no luck, then I push the car and it run again, so if it is manual and tried everything, push is the way to save money and time.
