The CF hood looks absolutely beautiful against the VR. Is there any weight savings vs. the stock hood or did you strictly go for looks.
Also, how was it reinforced structurally? Usually they utilize metal components from the stock hood and just have a CF overlay.
Either way, it looks awesome. Good buy.

I agree with baseballgenius, CF is not a visual improvement. Never is. If you're not saving a significant amount of weight, it's just a different part with a funky look. Meh.

sure its a visual improvement, depends on how you look at it. People have different tastes, you may not like it but a lot of people do. The hood is for aesthetic purposes only, but my cf trunk weighs only 7 lbs, i call that a nice weight savings.
