Hey guys i wasnt sure where to post this but i was wondren what everyone has been raceing against and beaten/ or lost to.

oh yea, mention wether the other guy/girl had mods... and what u have on your 8.

here's my list.... STOCK 6spd Rx-8

beat - RSX s' (250+hp mods), chevy cavalier (mods, but wasnt great), Subaru WRX (bad shifter i think), Talons, eclipses (mods on all but wasnt sure how many), And a bunch of 1.8t jetta's with little or no mods.

lost to - WRX ( w/ boost controll) and A Evo VIII (stock). - these are my best friend's cars.... didnt expect to beat them.

all of these races were kill/street races on 1/4 marked off runs.

Where to post this? In a kills section. BUT - The forum administration made the decision to NOT have a kills section in this forum, and does not permit street kills/racing stories to be posted. (fwiw, I agree with that decision).

This board will not allow a kills section, you'll have to create your own web board with a fiction section if you want to propogate those type of stories.

Agree there is no way you would beat a Type s with 250 whp or crank hp you would have your *** handed to you.

Example with I/E/H I would keep up with a g35 untill the end of fifth in my Type S.

Why is everyone against a kills?I think guy might be legit on most the type s with 250 hmm..but ive whooped wrxs all day sti is a different story though.Hell i know the 8 isnt the fastest thing out there but its not the slowest either.When mods really start to hit i think we will need one.Anyway heres list of solid street runs ive had.

Why? Because street racing is stupid and illegal, and irrelevant anyway. Most importantly, since it's illegal and quite high profile in media and lawmakers' attention these days, the forum administration will not want to be associated in any way, shape, or form with illegal activities such as street racing. If they had a forum for this or even permitted kill stories, there's a chance (in the typically over-litigious US) that they could be held to be contributory to a street race gone bad where an innocent third party was injured or killed.


(PS - irrelevant in that your street wins/losses mean absolutely nothing about the relative speed of your car vs. your opponent's. Take it to a drag strip!)

While it is interesting to know the cars we can "kill" from stoplight drags, it promotes a bad image to propogate it on this board.

You must have really had to do a clutch dump to take some of those cars.

 

I would kill it if I was modding this forum... I'm only Tech Garage and Mazdaspeed... don't bring it there!

 

the only thing i kill is the ladies when i roll up on them in my 8. :D
