CD Storage
Has anyone come up with a good way to store CDs in this car? None of the spaces seem really suitable. Would apreciate hearing about any good solutions, as the wife says that the lack of CD space is the only thing that she doesn't like about it.

6 in the changer. No one is ever in the back so I keep a book in the passenger side back floorboard. usually don't ever get into it except for when I'm in the mood for something diferent.

I make CDR's of any CDs I want to listen to in the car and store them in those little CD envelopes with the glassine windows; they're easy to flip through and juggle, and I can hold a whole stack of 'em - maybe fifteen or so - in the cupholder compartment, where they fit perfectly. (I don't use the cupholders for cups - if you do, it wouldn't be very practical.) Like LiveBlues, I also keep a CD wallet in the glovebox, but it tends to take up a lot of space there - I'll take Razpewton's suggestion and try it out in the passenger seat pouch.
BTW, does anyone else burn CDR's for car use? I'm a careful guy, but I've broken or scratched several while driving and I'd hate to see that happen to an original. Plus no one wants to steal fingerprint-smudged CDR discs.

It will be a fixture on the car forever then.
Na, you might want to get it. If I can recall the visor is made out of plastic not cloth so it won't leave any marks. I had that concern as well.

200 CD holder in the trunk, 12 in the visor holder, and 6 in the changer.
Oh, and a few in the rear center compartment (where the DVD for the Nav is), which I think would be a good place for a smallish CD case.

Jewel cases fit well in either of the center console compartments (I have arms of chimpanzee-like proportions, and can reach and operate the back seat compartment while driving).
Also, I have a 2-sided visor wallet (20 CD capacity) that fits well in the map pocket on the drivers door, and a 24 disk wallet that rides on the floor behind the passenger seat.
I use mostly CDRs in the car, although only minorly for durability. For me, it's more an issue of the hassle of moving cds in and out of my 400 disk home jukebox. That, and being able to get 50 disks worth of the songs I usually want to hear condensed onto 20 disks.

I used to worry about CDs, how to store them in any car I drove, making sure they never got scratched.
Then I got XM radio and I now I never listen to CDs anymore.

Hey now... some of the best music in only on 8-track.
Anyways, I have an i-pod and a car cradle that goes in the power port and holds it in front of the shifter... perfect.

Discgear Discus 40 for the wife. Sits on the passenger seat just fine.

I had a square CD wallet about 2 inches thick that just happened to fit perfectly in the rear console storage compartment, out of sight. 6 CD In dash changer is much nicer than digging around for CD's while driving.
