Cement Mix

I don't have pictures because I had to act pretty quickly this morning, but my car got vandalized today. Apparently people hate my car. Their innovative way of messing up my car was pouring a bag of cement mix dust over every square inch.

I managed to carefully wipe the windows off, but I couldn't wipe the body because it would ruin the paint, so I had to pour water over it and then run the car through a touchless wash to scour the rest off. I then went over with a soft towel and spray wax to get the missed spots. It doesn't appear to have any damage, but managed to make me late for work and in a rather lousy mood when I got there.

I'm seriously going to shoot someone if I catch another person ******* with my car.

Well I managed to completely clean it and then waxed it... so it looks lovely now, but imagine the best looking RX-8 you have ever seen (hehe) completely covered in chalky white dust.

For those that didn't know, I had my wheels/tires stolen before and they did a ton of body damage seesawing the car on a pointy rock and stack of bricks. I upgraded the alarm, but surprisingly the alarm doesn't trigger when the car is coated in cement mix.

I'm looking at getting a motion activated light and possibly infrared camera. I also have a loaded gun next to my window. :P I hate not having a garage.

Or move. Ha is it worth getting your expensive car messed up?

Well, the area I live in is really nice, but because of Columbia's desire to avoid ghetto's they scatter the section 8 housing throughout the county. Those housing areas are always set up near shopping centers so people without cars can get groceries and have easy bus access. Good idea in theory but it sucks for those of us living on the other side of the shopping centers from the section 8. We are the natural targets for the troublemakers, and my house is sandwiched between a high school and a middle school so I get kids out for a laugh as well as low income thieves and vandals. One of these days someone is going to get a nasty surprise when I catch them doing something to the car. In the meantime, a motion activated light and infrared camera will hopefully help the situation some.

holy crap man; that is terrible.

you should definitely have taken pics of the cement if in fact the mix damaged the paint and you needed to go through insurance

So now that you washed it all off, is there a bunch of fresh concrete at the car wash?

It would be too diluted for the cement to harden.
