My work blocks auction sites so I can't view that page, but if it's a silver car in Georgia, it is/was SilverEIGHT's totalled car. 90% of the repairs were done before his insurance company finally decided to total it.

If the glass all broke from the heat (which it looks like all the rear and side glass did) that car's going to need a helluva lot more work than just the bumper and exterior plastic being replaced and a repaint.
In my experience, a totalled car is totalled for a reason. Only way I'd touch that is if were free and I was going to strip it to use it as a race car. That would be a mess as a daily driver.

oh, didn't notice that ... (automatic).
If it were a manny, then strip the inteior out, mount up a cage and a pair of Sparco racing seats, a set of belts and go racing! I've never ridden in a good smelling race car before ... they all smell like burnt rubber, hot oil and driver sweat. What's a little fire residue on top of that ...

I'm not the fire marshall, but that car looks like it was set on fire with lighter fluid. A fast hot burn that was isolated to specific locations. Never seen a car fire that left the tires unburned.
