eclipse used to be the ultimate chick coupe of choice .. now im not so sure what it may be .. beetle is more menopause syndrome or lesbo car especially if they have that gay flower in the dashboard .. i guess AT at 20-25k could be the chicks choice purely for looks

That's like saying a 1937 Packard Convertible is a chicks car. It's rare, it's beautiful, chicks love it,, it's worth several mill. chicks love that, and they would be happy to be seen in it because it raises their social status. Chicks also love BMW Macs, Mercedes anythings, GTs, 2000 + Corvettes (which handle like boats, have big hind quarters, and lack civilized comforts) and old Caddy pimp car converts. Sure chicks like 8s and some of the new Alfa Romeros - drives them crazy; even really really old chicks - but it also is admired by sweet little old men, and I love it when that widower up the road from me wants to road test my chick-mobile 8! I bet your hairdresser drives a corvette!

And its not a chicks car thats still the Eclipse. Just think of it this way.. If you see alot of women driving the Rx-8 and you meet one you already have something to talk about! hehe... atleast that is the way I'd look at it.

I actually want to get a megaphone and randomly shout some of the quotes from that commercial when stopped at lights. I know I would be rofl if I saw someone doing that, so I just may have to.

Well I dont know if RX-8s are chick cars or not but all thats important to me is that I like it. Having every fine *** girl that sees it say they like it too is just another perk (especially living in Naples FL where you see $50k+ cars all the time). For example, comment from my friends girlfriend on my myspace: that car is awesome! thanks for the ride ;-). lol

Based on attendance at Rotar Fest in San Francisco - not a "chick's car". Most drivers of 7s,8s,6s, and the 3 were young, male, and had very few self soubts or sex hang up. Surprsing number of military owners with Engineering back grounds. A couple of chick drivers, a few old ladies - but these look, get drivern by, and get modified by men. Too complex for the Barbie mindset, not trendy enough for the Sweet 16 wannta car set, and fast enough to need a little muscle when being handled even with an automatic shift. The paddles on the automatic and alternative stick system very scary to Barbie who wants something fast, sporty, but very very simple.... Mom said she especially liked the home built hood modification with the system to reduce heat - Mom says she isn't an Engineer but she married one!
