cleaning/happy/zoom shade
In order of my mind...
Happy -
too old to have perfect recall 20 some years back but man I'm loving my 07 gt auto rotary. Have not really pushed it past 5k rmp much (only 650 miles on her now) but still it is fun to drive a rx8
Have not a clue how light the car is but it seems light (not as light as my 80 rx7 was but light just the same...and traction control does work). Fun, just plain fun and yes I'm one of those 75 percenters....the auto/manual gives me enough (well 75% of what I figure a stick offers) to enjoy with the auto.
Cleaning -
Car stays in garage when not driven so if I want to wash car on a saturday I don't think I can just start then backup to outside and shut her down but if I let her run for 3 to 5 minutes then engine is hot and hood is hot but they say don't wash a hot car. So the answer would be ? And no, I will not park it outside with dam cats in the area.
Zoom zoom shade -
Was going to get the car tinted (silver with red/black interior) but ran short of cash during xmas. Still might though do a tint going across the top of the front windshield. Do they make/sell a 'zoom/zoom' tinting strip and if so just how far down would it go or for that matter what is the legal limit? Some sort of z-1 or a-1 mark on the windshield to indicate what is legal. Living in florida I do like to have tinted windows but being an old guy I don't like dark tints nor too much tint at night. Hum, maybe just do the front door and rear door windows in a light tint and none on the back.
Enjoy, I know I am !
