Clear Corners?

Yes, I searched. And I just saw "would look better with clear corners" over and over and over again. What are clear corners?

They're the orange lights on the "corner" of your bumber and your front panel. You can remove them and put in clear ones instead. Making them clear corners.

Clear corners replaces the ugly yellow parking lights on the front wheel fenders. they are the easiest mod to do. Buy the stealth bulbs to replace the white OEM ones in order to keep the color legal. The stealth bulbs are colorless but turns yellow when lit. People here bought expensive stealth bulbs (around $75 i think) but i got mine from discount auto parts for about 11 bucks. The clear corner lens can be bought from a number of RX-8 club authorized vendors. I got mine from Mazdatrix. Make sure to remove the reflectors (search the threads) inside for better illumination but it is optional. Good luck!

Make sure you check out this DIY thread prior to installing the corners (if you decide to). Trust me it's a PIA if you don't. IMO

Yep, what he said....

Changing these took my about 20 minutes (and that was with taking the reflectors out as well).

A tip on taking out the reflectors - if you can take a pair of small snips and cut them, then use the needle nose to bend them a bit, they come right out.

i'm definately in the minority here (and will likely get flamed for this), but i prefer the orange corners to the clear corners.

I think the orange looks better with certain colors, like my Titanium Gray.

I changed mine out to clear corners, but I still have my ambers in. Its required that the corner glow amber in FL and I could've gone stealth but I haven't had the time. They (clear corners) look awesome on the VRed. The moment I added them I loved them. Not to mention it's the easiest DIY. It's you like, do what works for you.

Buy the LED replacement bulbs from discount auto parts. They are clear unlit but amber when on and costs $11. This would complete your look.

You guys need to click on the search button and then choose 'Advanced Search.' After doing so click the drop down chooser and select 'title only' instead of the anywhere in post. You will get much better results.

With the reflector still in light does not shine uniformly through the whole corner assembly. Believe me it is so easy to remove even after you already installed it that you might as well do it. Just use a flat head screwdriver to pop the reflector out of its holder then use needle nose pliers to bend it and then just let it slide out the bulb hole.

Good luck!
