Clear corners...again

Clear corners...again
I am planning to install the clear corner lenses this weekend, then I noticed that they are not exactly like the amber lenses. Where the forward, fender curve portion flattens-out slightly, the clear lens contour is much more severe, actually concave, whereas the amber lens contour change is more soft and matches the fender contour itself better.
Do I have the wrong lens? Why would the shape be different? Is there a difference between model years?
I've searched for a while and can't find mention of this detail. Any insight is appreciated.

You do have the right lens, and yes, the shape is different.
The clear corners have basically two flat surfaces instead of the one curved surface on the stock ambers. I think it's probably because there's a reflector inside, which is used to make it a turn signal in other countries.

There have been discussion about the 2 kinds of clear corners.
But, 1 kind, the kind most of us have, are Mazda manufactured (or OEMd), and they have the hard angle that you describe.
The 2nd kind are JDM, or another Japanese make, and match the OEM amber more closely.
I bought my clears from Mazda, and they have the hard angle. $40.00 CAD for the pair.
I like the angle on mine Kinda makes the smooth line of the fenders break ever so slightly, but not terribly noticeable until you get up close.
Enjoy yours though!

I have the reflectors still in and i think it looks better. when you look at it from the front you still see blue (changed to blue leds) and from the side it looks the same, and from behind it looks normal. i dont know, it just doesnt seem the hassle to me to change. i also dont want to possibly scratch the corners.
