Clear Corners come tomorrow
I'm so excited, lol it will probably take me like 3 hours to do them (i'm not very mechanically inclined), and I know I won't be able to drive the car (predicted 7 - 12 inches of snow predicted) but im still excited anyway, and will post pictures when im done

gratz on the clear corners...
it won't take you long, don't worry
first one will be the hardest but just look at the clear corner and you'll see how the stock one is held in, follow the DIY on the boards and you're golden.
I would recommend http://www.stealthauto.com/Products/...SBCA-0194.aspx , if you haven't already purchased them. The amber stock bulb just looks funky in a clear corner.

i love my clear corners, i am not very mechanical either and i did it pretty fast. However, to get the little reflective part out inside took me a while, not only this but i did it in my garage and it was about 107 degrees

And don't worry, even for the non inclined, it's an easy task.

Can you explain this? I'm thinking about getting clear corners, but I don't know what you mean? Maybe a pic reference?

i like my amber corners but that's because i have the winning blue. i agree with someone here that said the amber corner complements and probably looks good only with the WB color.
btw, my audiolink ipod connector just came in. yay!

30min job at the most. No need to remove the front bumper. Just 2 small plastic screw things that hold the splash gard to the front bumper, pull the back splash gard back and theres your bolt where the front bumper and fender meet just below the OEM corner. The bolt is facing the ground. Pull out the OEM unplug the light and put in the clear corners. 2nd side and your good

A needle nosed plier will do wonders in getting it out. Also a can of compressed air to blow out the small silvery particles from the reflector that come off from all the bending and twisting to get it out. Try to bend the reflector into a shape that will make it easier to come out the hole.
I used amber bulbs underneath to try to retain some adherence to California law--which requires amber bulbs. They show up at night and you can see that they are amber underneath in the day. I like the way they look.

I left my darn reflectors in ... forgot about those. Oh well, looks just fine as is.
I actually think clear would look excellent on green and blue, even better than amber, but it is a personal choice of course.
I am completely used to the way my clears stick out a bit .. I like it.
