Clear side marker lenses

I am just wondering where to get these lenses. When I bought my car, the owner had already installed these Clear lenses. To make a long story short, My car was side swiped three months ago in a parking lot. The body shop that repaired the damages told me that the clear lense was on order and they would call me when it came in. Well its been way too long and I just want to purchase it myself and stop payment on the last 200 dollars I owe them. It's the passengers side that I need. Finally with all the snow we have had. The bulb burnt out.

Thanks

they will take a while to get however, since the area a JDM only part....expect a long wait with whatever route you go with

If you only need one of them, you can save yourself some money and order just one from Mazdatrix. Here's the link.

200 bucks for clear corners?

Yeah, stop payment on that. Get them here for way less. I think i picked my set up for 50 bucks or less. took 10 minutes to install in a parking lot with a screwdriver.

It seems the clear lenses are very popular on this forum. On some forums the painting of the corners are all the rage.

Any of you guys ever paint them to match your 8 instead?

I painted mine brilliant black to match my car it looks pretty decent but i should have used the white lense cover so i get a brighter glow from it not the amber glow. Ill post pics of it tomorrow around noon.

Ahhh...so the lights are on with the headlights...not just for parking lights? I didn't remember.

On bimmers the corners are the parking lights (red and orange corners) most guys remove bulbs and paint them the body color so you can't see them.

The problem with the clears over the ambers is that the clears are a different shape that doesn't hold the body line for some stupid reason. If I were going to paint I would go with an Amber corner.
