Clunking Diff?
Hi all, recently I have noticed a clunking sound coming from I guess the diff when I set off, it doesn't always do it just now and then, it seems to be more noticable after a reasonable run, i.e. motorway journey etc.
Best way to describe the noise is it sounds like a couple of gear coggs clicking together? It only makes the noise when setting off form a stand still in first gear. Any idea's would be helpfull, thanks in advance. PS I have a 2007 RX8 231 with 18k on the clock.

+1 on the change the fluid.
I had a strange sound from my dif mostly in tight slow speed turning (like in a parking lot). figured it was the LSD so I changed Dif fluid and problem solved. that was on a 2008 at about 25k, now I have over 33K.
