Clutch Start

Hi,

I've ordered my 210hp mt RX8 and eagerly waiting for it's arrival which is in November. However I've 1 question - understand that there's this thing called clutch start, wat is this? Does it mean only when the clutch is engaged then ONLY can i start the car?

Pearl White with the usual accessories. Looking out for nice 18" rims. Wat shd the offset be? Can I use the 18" on the 250hp?

Thks,

Clutch......

Nice choice, the '8' looks awesome in White!

Can't help with your wheel questions, but the clutch start is just as you guessed, you can only start when the clutch is DIS-engaged. (pushed in), to stop it chugging away in gear.

How did you get a 210hp manual?

More to the point, why?

Move to another continent.:p

Because it's less expensive.

The lower power engine and manual is not available in the states, but is in other markets.

Hi,

In S'pore, we get exactly the JDM spec'ed RX8. As the 250hp(abt S$146K) is abt 10k more than the 210hp(S$135K), and also i understand that the 210 has a very slight more torque than the 250. Roads over here are very different from say the States, where i think u have long stretches of highways. I dun really need the BOSE system and also the 18", will be looking out for aftermarket parts. Only thing is I'm corcern is wat's the size of rims i shd be looking out for shd i change my 16" to say, 18" or 19"?

Any reply is welcomed....thks guys!
