Angry Code C1145

Hello everyone,
I have a 2004 6MT that I recently replaced the engine in. All has been well apart from this code that I have been chasing for months as I have gotten all of my other codes to go away with a bunch of work. The C1145 code says it's a Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Input Circuit Failure. I understand that this is not a big deal, but I'm getting tired of seeing this light on my dash as I daily drive my 8. I've tried replacing the harness that goes to the wheel speed sensor, but that didn't fix it obviously. I'm wondering if I should just buy new hubs with sensors. This could also be beneficial because I need to replace my wheel bearings soon, so it wouldn't be a terrible idea if you guys think it wouldn't be. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Also, sidenote, I have a catless midpipe that I'm planning on installing and I know that it will cause a CEL, is there any other way than MazdaEdit or Versatuner to get rid of the code?

I have nothing for you regarding the wheel sensor. For 2 years I was running a catless BHR mid pipe. The thing that worked to remove the CEL was VersaTune. I tried the failed front O2 sensor installed in the rear position since that was rumoured to remove the CEL. No success for me.

If your front wheel bearings are going out there is your problem.
Changing the harness without changing the sensor at least is a wasted effort I think.
Was the harness damaged? If so how and why, it could lead to a better diagnosis.

That makes sense if the wheel bearing is going bas as there as actually been a little knocking noise coming from the front right. It has been progressively getting worse so I will replace the hub soon. I will update this thread as soon as I replace it.

Update

Hello everyone, I replaced the hub and I still had the same issue with the code. I reset the ECU to see if it would clear the code, but it didn't I also tried clearing the code, but it wouldn't let me. My reader has the capability to do so, so I was a little confused as to why it wouldn't let me. Do I have to go and get someone to flash the code, or do you guys think that it could be a wiring gremlin?

Also update on the catless midpipe, I still haven't gotten a CEL as I'm already on the 4th drive cycle and nothing is pending either. I wonder if one of the previous owners had it masked because it didn't have a cat 2 previous owners ago.
