Color Affecting Number of Tickets
I came across this article, which I thought was pretty interesting. Have a read.

I like how they included the insurance part being false also, when I was getting quotes on different cars my agent specifically said that red would have a little bit of a higher premium, as he knew i was trying to save money at the time.

Unfortunately police are just drawn to sports cars. I've had a cop turn around in rush hour traffic to follow me, even though I was actually doing the speed limit. They just profile. I would say that if red cars are pulled over more often, it's because a disproportionate number of sports cars are red.

true, but sometimes you're just going with the flow of traffic and it's past the limits.

i think that even if there WAS a correlation between red cars and more tickets, it would be BS...
i mean, you need to think about the demographic (right word?)... who buys red cars? mostly younger drivers who are more interested in performance and standing out... people who buy red cars are people who probably tend to speed more often... now, i dont see many old ladies driving red cars, and i also dont see many old ladies speeding... makes sense.
and so therefore, wouldnt it make sense that red cars get more tickets?

You can't ticket what you can't see - white and silver are designed to hide in traffic - until they go by and someone says "What was that?" Reds are an invitation to the race!
Blacks look dangerous. Blues and other colors are too new to flash a sterotype. I chose blue for that very reason - they are new enough to be noticed, do not fade into traffic and do not look dangerous and besides we drive like grannies!
