My first thought was "I really want a Ti".....but then I saw the red one day at sunset and was sold!!! It gets more attention than I like but it has forced me to watch my driving a little closer, my wife tells me that's a plus......

I'm perfectly happy with the silver, but I wish the more of the Mazda colors were clearcoated. This is the first non-clearcoat car that I have owned in 10 years. Hopefully the finish will hold up over time.
Putting the first coat of wax on a metallic paint is a real bear!

Previously, I had a Brilliant Black Miata with tan roof and leather interior. It wasn't my first or even second choice, but I was so smitten with the MX-5 that I took it, over a BRGreen.. had one- a superb 1963 Morris 1100. Through almost five years, (driven summer and winter in Ontario ) the finish held up well with twice -yearly Meguires' 'full monty' treatments and hand or no-touch washing, weather depending.
My 28 year old son who has a far more highly-developed aesthetic sense and appreciation of shape and design, strongly lobbied for Titanium. I had already passed on the VR as I have had 1 Red Prelude and 2 red GS-R Integras. .. all great.
The yellow AT was a fluke. The last Ti MT available at that time had just that morning been 'appropriated' by a staff member. Realizing my disappointment, the salesman tossed me the keys to the LY and as the song says, 'Just one look..' It's an 'in your face' hue, I realize, but far more subtle and attractive than any other yellow I know of, except from that factory in Modena, of course.
I think it shows off and accentuates the body's compound curves and contours very effectively. And as someone has mentioned elsewhere, all of these awesome looking autos almost eerily assume brand new characteristics under the night sky. My son's opinion? "Very cool. Definitely a babe magnet, Dad." Whatever. Do I love it? Muchly. Coefficient of regret=0.

My choices were between Titanium & Blue. Since my last 2 cars were Black, Black wasn't an option. Although Black looks great when it's clean...But come winter time, have fun guys. lol
Yellow, I just can't bear to look at.
So I ended up getting Blue. No regrets here. Lots of Compliments.

i was sold on the blue, but right next to it at the dealer was a nordic green. i had not seen this color live before, and it showed off the metal flake so beautifully...so i made a (rare) last minute decision and i am still glad i went with the green.

No regrets, but I still have not seen a blue one yet. The Blue 350Z and M3 look great though. But it couldnt replace the black & red leather. I would like the red to be a little brighter ie: ferrari or corvette.

I must admit I chose black back in February, and I regret it. I am too meticulous about keeping car clean and looking sharp, and black was the wrong choice. I can't keep up with the cleaning, I am just letting car get really dirty before I wash it, because otherwise it takes too much time out of my week. When I trade it in in a few years for a new rx8, I will def not be getting black. Sunlight silver and Blue were my other choices, and I'll be going with one of them. If I could turn back time, I'd def not get black, but I will say that it is a sharp looking color, just not for clean car feaks like me.

Absolutely love my Red . . . especially, since I scouted around and found one with the Red & Black leather! Since the windows are tinted, whenever I open the door, people are awed by the 2-tone leather that enhances the exterior Red paint with gold flakes. I wouldn't own any other color! :D

I have a winning blue.. at first i didnt like the color... and itought about myself why did i choose that color(dang dang...) it was too late for me.. but.. after i keep looking at my car i was kind use to it and thought about again.."winning blue color is not that bad."
But i still want the WHITE RX-8.... someday i will repaint my car into White with mazdaspeed spoiler. =D

I have a Red one and think (personal opinion may be biased) it shows the curves much more than any other color...even the sunlight silver. Until I can see the white in person, I'd definitely say Red is the best of the bunch......with black holding a close second. But then again, who wants to wash the black one every day?? (cause that is what it takes to own a black car)

As you can see...
...I went with the Ti-Grey. Really liked it best for the fact that it is an unusual color (for other cars, at least! :p ) and that it does a great job of hiding dirt. I do wish I had taken a good long look at the Red, though...our cars really have some nice curves dressed up in that red.
