Colorful Light's
Hey I have some questions on lights. I know you guys can help me out
Has anyone changed the dome lights, center counsel lights, door lights or floor board lights?
If so what bulbs did you use and do they last long? Where can I find them?
Thank you!

Over 3000 posts and you don't know how to SEARCH??!!!
Codes for everything but headlights are the same, but in case you were considering the headlights, below are both links. Also, I threw in a set of cheap-o (ashamed to say) Pep Boys red bulbs in my doors, b/c I just did the OEM reds under the dash, and turned off the dome light. I want to keep the dome white for when I actually need it, so didn't change that one. The door courtesy lights were a little difficult for me, b/c it's a small space. I had my GF pull the clear bulbs cuz her fingers fit in there better. Overall, the red is not very bright all around, so I would recommend going with aftermkt LED's like the members here if you want bright, flashy colors.
NOTE: the 2825 code baffles me. I didn't see that number in stores (online and brick stores), and somewhere else on the forum I saw 194 in place of this number. The door lights I replaced with 194, and it works.
the links did not work right.

Dmc,
pulling off the door lights is super easy. Just take a small flat head screwdriver and there is a groove on the bottom of the lens. Insert screwdriver and slowly pull towards you. Lots of people put a bit of electrical tape on screwdriver just to make sure they dont' scratch the lens but it's not necessary.

194 from superbrightleds.com is the code for the 2 maplights and courtesy lights. The dome light took me a while but I found it. 3022 is the code for the festoon bulb in the dome light. I got the x9 led in it because it was the brightest (its on page 2 below the wled series 6 led bulbs for the map and courtesy lights.). Im glad I did, it is a little less bright than the 6 led in my map lights and courtesy lights.

If your eyes are sensitive you may want to steer away from interior LEDs. You know how the stock incandescents dim a bit when you shut the door and then fade out after a few seconds? Well, LEDs are able to replicate that, but the result is a nasty flicker (much like a monitor with its refresh rate set too low). I felt like I was having a seizure, so I took them out. I have a couple sets of LEDs lying around, so I was able to try a couple different bulbs and they all have the same effect. Too bad, you just can't get a nice vibrant color out of tinted incandescent bulbs.

i used a red led in the glove box, i believe it keeps my night vision during night missions lol
i think it looks quite standard. i put red bulbs in the door courtesy lights, i heard that bulbs fade a lot better than led's so thats why i used them there.
i wan't to change out my puddle lights to red bulbs as well as they fade in and out. As i have a velocity red i don't think it will look to rice, just got to work out how ot get the white bulbs out?
