I Apologize...

... I usually don't reply to these types of post but I've ready too many to sit quietly.

If you feel your car is lacking (torque, hp, whatever), GO TRADE IT IN AND BUY SOMETHING ELSE!

Shut the hell up already, stop whining and do something about it.

Damn people, there's plenty of cars out there. Find one you won't bitch about and go buy it. Again, sorry for the tone.

No go car shopping...

woah... That's insane.. how could the rx8 lose 60 hp from the engine to the wheels?!?!?! Did Mazda lie and the motor makes way less hp than 239? I'm actually a little disappointed and my car hasn't even arrived yet...

I'll definately have to look into a turbo upgrade or getting the new mustang in a year or two. I'll be basically driving a car with less power than most sport sedans. Power isn't everything but lack thereof really sucks.

That's just the way it is. It's not keeping me from trading in my Mazda6s for an RX-8 though, even after putting several thousand into the car.
I had a Mazda 6s 5 spd for two years and it never felt as strong as my 8 does. The 6s was no slouch but in no way does it feel like my 8.

I own both a 6S wife's car and obviously an RX-8 I drive them both a lot. While the 6 is quick, there is no contest between it and the RX-8.
