maybe this is a stupid question but as the rx8 is no longer being sold here i really cant find the answer anywhere ..

what is the colour called on my rx8 ? im about to order a mazdaspeed bodykit and dont know wich is the right colour to order it in ? so it fits is there a colour code to wich is needed ? or ?

i know thisd might be a nab question and im sorry.. but i would hate to get it home in wrong colour

It's a 2005 hi power model

 

There should be a paint code label somewhere on the car. Maybe in the door jamb as part of (or near) the build info. The best thing to do for any color matching is to find the code.

If it was an '06 US model, that's Galaxy Gray. But other years had different named grays.

As others have said just check the door placard. The color code should be there. For example, my "black cherry mica" is 28W. It's best to go by the code rather than color name as the name can vary, e.g. my '05 Shinka color is called "Brilliant Ebony" on the '04 Miata, but they're both code 28W.

 

Im not sure about Europe, but thats looks the same as my 2005 GT and its Titanium Grey.

2006 + was Galaxy Grey

 

^ beat me to it. If it's 05 it's likely the Ti Gray. But like others have mentioned, there should be a code on the sticker along the driver's side door.
