Yeah well how rich people spend there money is a bit different. My bosses daughter is 16 and drives a C63. Painful I know but you have to realize 60k to him is like 5k to a middle class person. I used to get upset about that kind of stuff but I remind myself of how I felt when I used to look at having a 30k car was a pipe dream. Haha, and now my 30k car is a 9k car.

And I don't know why people hate when parents buy they're kids good cars if your parents would have bought you a nice car in hs I bet you would take it right away. I got my new 8 after hs I wrked all of hs for my car people would always hate cuz I had money and cuz I had a new car. It's just people who don't like wrkn and are on they're *** all day that expect to get a nice car and get mad when other hard working people do I mean you wrk hard to buy the things you want why should you have to buy cheap things just so other people won't feel bad?

well i wanted a used truck, but my dad wanted a sports like car. he started looking at 350z eclipse, and what not. but when we saw the rx8. it was like love at first sight... my first car was supposed to be the 350z, the dealer gave me the key when i went back home to get the money, but my mom didnt like it so we said no. but when she saw the 8, same thing love at first sight. we found a good deal, low payments, insurance is not high so we bought it.. so i did not intend to have the 8 as my car, i just wanted something better then a 1993 Toyota tercel lmao

Now as for my son, as long as he gets great grades I will buy him the best car I can within reason. Grades and behavior are number one in my book.

Jesus christ, dare i ask how old some of you are? im in england and bought mine when i was 18 which a monumental task, trust me. Alot to buy the car, ALOT to insure and alot to run it. i understand that fuel is cheap as dirt over your way and your not taxed on the air you breath like we are in britain. But the fact (as far as im aware) that you learn to drive at 16 and have rx8's whilst your at school?! that would never be possible over here without extremely rich parents :P so to hear about porsches and rx8's being mentioned within a school context :O is a very shocking prospect to us (slightly ignorant :P) brits lol

Hahah Bought my 8 rolled over the day after i turned 17 now a year later finnaly starting too look nice hah.
And btw do anything possible to rice your car out by than and you will win for sure. The ricier the car at shows and stuff always wins because the non car people think its "custom" sad but true.

im not mad at kids that get good cars in highschool, i had a 3.5 and worked so my dad went 50/50 with my 1.8 turbo jetta, on the other hand my lil bro is valadictorian and is basically going to whatever college he want almost free so my dad completely gave him a bmw 330ci and i think its perfectly fair cause he worked his but off and chose grades and school over work were i didnt
