Cops profiling the RX!

Cops profiling the RX!
I was doing 90MPH with the other wage-slaves this morning on the freeway and a cop pulled me over.
I understand that he can't pull everybody over, and he had to pick somebody. But he picked me because my f*cking car is so cool and looks like a badass batmobile. I could see it in his eyes. He said, "license and registration" but what he meant was "even though i'm a guy, i wanna bang you because your car is so freaking rad."

That happens with a sports car.
Also, where were you relative to other cars. If you were in front or back of the pack...then shame on you. Always stay in the middle and you will not get picked off.

I got picked off one night by a state trooper...those guys rock...rule of thumb here...if they dont tell you how fast you were going...dont start a conversation about it...as long as it stays off the cam and neither of you ever say it, they are intending on writing you a warning.
He simply asked...where are you goin in such a hurry? I said...I'm sorry officer, I was taking a call on my cell phone and the car got away from me for a split second...its hard in this car because of the gearing and its rotary engine if your not paying attention.
After the oogling and some chit-chat about the car...he let me go with a warning...
If it was the city cops, I woulda had four cruisers and gotten beat like a step-child...APD frequently resorts to a shoot first ask questions later policy lately....

The whole "industry" of vehicle velocity control down where you drive is inconsistent and mismanaged.
Some cops threshold is 20 mph over the limit before they start ticketing. 77-84 mph is what all the cars do when traffic is light (around 20% road capacity), ie community-shared speeding where the risk is averaged out. At these times, doing 65 mph isn't fast enough. At other times, such as interstate travel, 90 mph is more the norm.
Some states will ticket you at 5 mph over, every time. Consistency. There is a huge rift in your area between the written speed law, actual practice, and enforcement.
Lastly, constant 65 mph driving has a rough feel on the rx8. Just not a very good feel. Slightly above that, the rx8 begins to feel very fluid.
