Cops profiling the RX!

90 is somewhat of the norm here.
I was driving on Rt 84 in CT yesterday and traffic was heavy but the fast lane was doing 85-90 the whole time.
Honestly 90 doesn't feel very fast to me (anymore).
It's hard to believe that the first time my friend did 100 with me in his car I nearly **** myself.
You got pulled over for speeding. Not driving a sports car. The cop pulled over who ever he felt like and you just happened to be that schmuck.

hhmmm . . . OP states that all vehicles were doing 90mph & the 8 got pulled over, rather than any other speeder. OP has humorous attitude regarding his sexual fantasy w/men in uniform. Members go all righteous about "blah blah pulled over for 90" . . . .
I'll give my +1 to "price for being sexy".
Had stavesacre said "if you could get an Aerostar up to 90, it deserves pulled over first" that would have got my ++1. I wish cops would pick the speeder in the bunch that really should get the ticket. Sports cars w/speed rated tires vs. minivan (or any other ride) w/$50 tires that are not designed to sustain speeds over 80 - seem like the smart choice by the fuzz would be to ticket the bigger dumass.

Oh oh ! Mazda gonna see this post, track you down, and Void your warranty because of *abuse* !!!!
:P j/k
90 mph ... I know there are times that the road is completely empty .... I had that opportunity couple of times but my sense just told me to back off .... 1 minute later I saw a cop car hiding behind the brushes then I was like phew ....

Meh, I consider speeding tickets a form of driving tax. If you never get a ticket, you will have wasted a number of hours driving that you could of spent doing something else after a few years. If you get too many tickets, you wind up paying out the nose. I get a minor speeding ticket every few years and I consider that about where I want to be. Doing the speed limit isn't much fun, but racking up points isn't much better. All my tickets have been 15 over on the highway out of state.

+1,000,000....
With equal drivers an RX-8 is far safer at 90 mph than a minivan at 80 mph but even if they were doing the same speed, driving side-by-side I'd bet dollars to donuts that the RX-8 gets pulled over.

Ok... everyone just stop and check this out. I just heard the original poster on the radio today and was lucky enough to record it. This explains everything...

"oh i can answer for him...an IROC is an awesome car.
as much as i do see the humor in this, it ranks right up there with picture of the vulture waiting for the young african american kid to die of starvation.
maybe i'm just partial because i work with children like such on a somewhat normal basis.

omfg , i just got a ticket for going 62 on a 45 street , on march 19th. And guess what, I got another ticket while going to court trying to get rid of the first ticket. Funny thing is I WASNT SPEEDING. Mr piggy said i was going 55 on a 30 which is BS , i never speed in residential. And get this....It was the same cop that pulled me over the first time. NO WAY! What should i do about this situation lol. Can i go to traffic school for both tickets? Can i fight against the second ticket and actually win? Any suggestions? Damn and i used to have respect for cops , i still do...just not that specific cop. Bastard lol
