Surprisingly, the only time I was pulled over around here (in downtown Newark of all places), I got let off with a warning... I'm betting that since cops around NNJ have to deal with some real crazy ****, they know the difference when they see a bunch of kids playing but keeping it safe. If I'm practicing drifting in a deserted parking lot at 2am I ain't gonna hurt anyone (except possibly myself, but you can chalk that up to Darwin...)
In any case, as long as you were indeeed keeping it safe, I congratulate the cops on using common sense, and I congratulate you on being able to afford so much wasted rubber.
