I remember somewhere around 1985 we had about 8 inches of snow in San Antonio. It was great, the whole town shut down, it was lots of fun.

Sweet house. You got the floor plan ? We're building a house over the next year n a half or so... Any ideas would be helpful.

If you don't mind sharing the floorplan, PM me.

Otherwise, might I ask the sq footage? How many bed/baths?

That's it for now. thanks!

It was around Christmas of '84, and I had just moved from Wisconsin. Couldn't figure out what the big deal was!

My best recollection was watching the TV weatherman, Albert Flores, tell everyone not to drive unless it was an absolute emergency. I went to the grocery store about an hour later and saw him in line buying beer!

I drove through the worst snowstorm in my life Christmas 2003 getting from Arizona to NJ trying to get through Texas and a little bit of New Mexico.

My builder was Granato Custom homes - Mark Granato and his brother Steve build about 5-10 homes per year. I have nothing but good things to say about them, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

The house is about 3100 sq ft. Downstairs there is a 2-story great room, dining room, kitchen, laundry, study/guest bedroom with adjacent full bath, and 3.5 car garage. THere is storage under the stairs. Upstairs is master bed/bath, two secondary bedrooms, a second full bath, and a media room. We opted for less rooms, but they are all pretty large (except for the media room - I wish I could have made it a bit larger, but I just couldn't make it work).

My bad - that was obviously not a foyer. Let's call it the great room.

Up the stairs - two secondary bedrooms, one on each side of niche. Master off to the right. Linen closet next to master.

Different view of 2nd floor. Can see both bedroom entrances, and far left door is 2nd full bath.

Nice looking house. I like the hardwood floors and balconies. But especially the layout of the kitchen. As someone that likes to cook, the central counter is a great thing to have for all the various ingredients and mixing bowls, etc...

WOW! That's a gorgeous house! In fact, it's almost exactly what I'd want for a home, the two story great room with the balcony above is one feature that I dream about. I can only imagine what that set you back...probably more than my poor *** will ever be able to afford .

Beautiful none-the-less! Congrats!
