How many doors a car has does not factor into the rate. Rates are calculated based on risk...driver and vehicle. I can tell you that I pay right around $500 a year for my 8. I also know that one of the other people in the local club pays $1000 a quarter for his 8. I can tell you that the Speed6 and RX8 are at least in the same vehicle class according to the insurance company I work for. This will make the rates about the same between the two cars for the same driver.
The best thing you can do is call up your insurance agent...tell him you are looking at a car and request a quote. Provide the VIN of the car and see what happens.

Year end dividends are great! State Farm though typically sends me one quarterly.
