Yeah, the 8 is a bit tough to drive without the power steering.

I don't recommend doing this but if you must feel what it is like, turn the car off while cruising down the freeway and change lanes before starting the car again.

 

Actually, its more like having someone reach over and yank the wheel when you don't expect it and then turning off the ignition.
At speed, it isn't hard to deal with. Its when you are trying to park that it gets difficult.

 

I see im not alone this week with this problem
I will know today from My Insurance and I am also shopping around in the meantime.

he tells me its gonna be expensive but its the best price

its not OEM its similar with the mazda logo not on it, either way its a bad week for my mazda. I damaged the front bumper and the side turn broke I have no idea how it broke
