I wouldn't say that, if emissions would pass, i think mazda would have SC'd or T'd the 8. It's 2 completely different motors, in to different cars. If there were a i-4 in our 8's it would be a Saturn Ion

Mazda pretty much tapped this motor. If you look into the history, 1986 1.3 NA Rx-7 only produced 163 hp. A honda 86 1.8, produced about 96hp. Now... 1.3 NA Rx8 232hp, and the 1.8 honda 180hp. If you compare that's a big difference with the same displacement. In the MS3 it's a 2.2l so of course it's going to produce more power. But it's not as fun to drive.

only an .88 on the skidpad? That seems awfully low...
Unless I've been misinformed about 7's... don't they pull a .9 stock?
Or was I misinformed about 8's... I was told they pull harder than 7's stock...

If you're looking for a project, try going with more rotors. I recall a friend showing me a video about a team called "Scoot" who managed to get nearly 500hp out of a single turbo 3-rotor. Same friend also told me he's heard that if you don't mind making your RX all engine (no PS, no AC, no nuthin - just motor), 13B's snap together like legos to make a vicious 4-rotor (can you say 787b?).

This is all Hearsay, though, so this could all be BS...

Another thing that comes to mind is the price. The 1993 Rx-7 cost about 32k new in 1993, if you look at that relative to now, that car would be ~45k, I don't know about you but I could't afford that. Mazda kept it cheap so they could sell, since the FD didn't do to well in the states because of the price.

I heard that they might change the shape of money because it's not fair to the sight impaired to not distinguish the bills.

You have to explain how that works. Another way I can distinguish is at a strip club... I don't think I need to explain. :p
