curbed...

I had a bit of a fender bender a few weeks ago, and there was a reather menacing curb involved... Has anybody curbed their 8 hard enough to throw the alignment out of whack like i did recently?? How did it handle after the re-alignment??? Im so worried that im going to get my 8 back and it will just simply never be the same....i dont know what i'll do if thats the case. Any information that one of you may be able to provide would be a great help...and hopefully ease my worries.

Thanks
-D

I curbed my 8 a week or so ago, but I was lucky, I guess I ran onto a ramp and it just scraped the frame, none of the paint or anything was damaged, nor the frame bent

Ohhh, first let me give my condolences. It is tough when we hurt the ones we love.
With that aside, you want to be sure you go to a place you can trust and one that has newer computer equipment. Ask to see the printed results of before and after the alignment. This way, the numbers don't lie.
I did have an accident years ago where my front nose was hit HARD (I was at a stop sign and someone veered into the sidestreet and took the nose off my car). This bent the joint and the car was never the same. From what you describe though, you should be OK with the alignment.

Good Luck!
