Anyone with the velocity Red paint job have somebody come up to them and ask them if the paint job was custom done??.....

Some guy came up to me yesterday and asked me where i got my paint job done..and first i didnt understand what the hell he was talking about..but then i understood and told him it was factory.....And the guy was just in shock..tellin me that this is "TRUE CANDY APPLE RED"......

Just made me smile.....hehehehehe :D

My neighbor saw the car up close for the first time last weekend and he asked me "is that candy apple red?" I don't think so....

 

i love the red color man...it jus looks sooo damn hot!!!....

I think the Velocity Red paintjob is pretty amazing up close. It is very rare to see a factory paintjob with fairly large gold flakes in it like the VR has.

Still trying to decide between Velocity Red and Sunlight Silver.

 

My opinion...go with the red....The looks u get....

Yea u get look jus for havin an 8....but...i dunno sumthing about the red with the black and red interior....jus looks amazing...

 

ya that has happend to me to. i was at the car wash and my blue 8 was lookin ALL shiny and this younger guy asked me if i had some House of Kolor paint job. it made me smile to.

 

Well, that is the way that I am leaning right now, which is a switch since Sunlight Silver was my number one pick before.

Lol--I'm not a big fan of red cars; my mom has a red SLK and its ok-but not for my taste.

Well, I HAVE been thinking long and hard! For two months now, and I STILL can't decide!

But I have narrowed it down to the SS and VR, so at least I have made some progress.

Do you not like the SS any more, or is it just that you prefer the Velocity Red?

 

I was first interested in the Nordic Green, but it is too dark. Next looked at the Yellow (throw-back to my younger days). Didn't like it; though in all fairness, the car was dirty. Picked the Titanium, but then my wife said go for the Red. I did and, though I have never thought about owning a red car, was very happy with it. A couple weeks ago I saw a shiny Yellow on the road. Now I am convinced I made the right choice.

 

The silver is BEAUTIFUL! But I love the car so much, that I now want to be extra flashy! :D
I've never liked a vehicle as much as this one! I miss almost buying the little, red, sports car :o

I have the yellow also, attracts a lot of attention, gives the radar cops something to focus on!! Everybody loves yellow!!
