why don't you first tell what you like about those two particular coils and then we'll help you decide.

what kind of racing are you doing? you got any cool kill stories already in your 8?

I suggest you do a bit more research before buying anything.

buying springs will not turn you into a drifter/racer

By coils do you mean just coil springs, or the full coilover itself?

I personally have tein s-techs, It's stiffer than stock and a mild but even drop. I'm no drifter though. You should really looking into something with custom spring rates and valving as well as stiffer roll bars if you really want to have it be amazing.

Good luck. Do some research and the ask some specific questions to narrow down your options. Start Here then go HERE

I see a lot of reading in your future. I can also see some closed threads and finaly a "I crashted my 8 trying to dorifto" thread.

I have the H&R springs on my car. They do lower the car quite a bit. I would say at the edge of being except able. Any lower and I would swap them out. The may be OK with Bilstein shocks. They are high pressure shocks and will raise the car a little.

Ok, so what's you budget?
You're going to be best served by getting roll bars and adjustable end links while your at it. This will add 300 to 500 easy to the price if buying new. Coilovers range from 800 or so up to 2500 and beyond. The less expensive ones are generally more for appearance than performance but can still perform well. Check the for sale section there are at least 3 different sets of coilovers for sale at the moment.

+1. should have started there.

Get some HPDE's under your belt, get out and get a lot of autox in. Driver mod will make a lot more of a difference than parts.

Good that you know the difference. You'll need at least 4 more coils if you want to do the ls1 swap. You probably should get those before you get springs.

I'm pretty convinced they don't know what they're talking about. Do you see what I did there.
