Damn I love this car!!!!!!!

Dunno if it was worth a new thread, but, instead of my Company Montana van, decided to drive the 8 to work today -
It's holiday traffic lite this AM, and the freeway was PERFECT for some fun driving - even caught the light green at the top of a long off ramp for a fun downshift into second to swoop the right turn onto the main drag to the office. Got out of car with this same stupid silly grin I've been wearing lately - gotta agree - just like you - I JUST LOVE THIS CAR!
When I'm having a bad day at work - I tell myself - "Hang in there - when you get home, you can take the 8 out" (I live at the bottom of a twisty road to Mt. Baldy - 20 minutes of fun twisty driving and I'm having coffee at a small cafe - a perfect end to a stressful day) sounds corny, but it sure has gotten me thru some stressful days at work!

Fun-to-drive....
I know just what you mean, i took her in for an oil change, and the dealer said "So, you really like to drive it, eh?"
I asked what he meant, then he told me I had more than twice as many miles on mine than he had seen on any other '8!
If I carry on at this rate my seven year extended warranty will 'mile out' in just four!

I know that feeling
Getting out of bed to go to work is eased by the fact I get to drive my 8 to get there
Going home is that much more exciting.
However, my only dowside on that front is work is only 7 miles from home...so my joy is limited mostly by the time I sit at traffic lights...which sucks. I do find my opportunities though to make a spirited merge into traffic or pot-hole evasive maneuver

Without question, this car is a dream to drive. I feel the same as the rest of you. I'm all upset that I can't detail out my car this weekend - there's just too much going on. Heck I go out to lunch every day now just to hit the highway for a few minutes and feel the speed and the soft easy ride. It's crazy beautiful in Phoenix AZ right now. I take every opportunity to get out and drive with the moonroof open

Every chance I get, I find some "errand" to run in some far-flung corner of town (or to a neighborhing town, or, in at more than one case so far, to a neighboring state). Why buy groceries in Maryland when they're so much, uh, cheaper in West Virginia?

You know, I had to go into work today. Which was really going to suck. Until I realized it meant I'd get to drive the 8 fourty miles on fairly open roads. That made working on a Saturday tolerable, at least until I got there.

I too, can't wait to drive my 8. I drive a company vehicle during the week, but the drive to work isn't as "fun-filled" as some others have said... I live less than a mile from my office, so even though I could drive my 8 to work, what'd be the point? Ah, but then again, the weekends in Southern Wyoming are much different than most other places, as there really isn't too much traffic. And what little there is, can be passed quickly enough! I love this car!D:D
