Glad to hear there was no damage to your 8.
A couple of years ago, my malibu was broken into at the movie theater My stereo and ipod were all gone. Apparently, that part of the parking lot didn't have security cameras.
Needless to say, I was furious. Now I have a viper 2-way alarm that will let me know if something happens if I am within a mile radius.

I HATE SPEEDBUMPS!
It happened to mine a long time ago in California when i still have my 97 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS. I always parked it outside and it's a fairly safe neighborhood (to my knowledge, i was wrong then), anyway, one day, i was about to go to work and i seen my driver's side window is shattered and only my face out stereo got stolen. When they didn't expect what they wanted in my car, they slashed my driver's side rear tire also. I was so pissed and called my job that i cannot go to work because someone or somebody vandalized my car. Anyway, i feel your pain and i hope those kids get caught and taught a lesson.

So I got a 07 GT with the smart key.
When I chirp the horn to lock it, does that mean that it has a motion sensor that honks the horn like someone here said factory alarm?
And if so whats the cycle of the sound?

On this subject, two yahoos broke into and burglarized our office building this weekend. The funny thing is that there are cameras in EVERY hallway, so there are more than a few VERY clear shots of these two walking down the hall trying every door until they found an open one. The picture the building released shows the pair walking down the hall and one of them is munchin' on a bag of popcorn. Clowns. People wonder why I want to concealed carry in the office..

From what I've heard around the neighborhood, they caught them yesterday. Two 18-20 yr old kids, one on house arrest. They both actually lived in our neighborhood.

Well, long story short, we had a guy getting very roudy and out of control in our restaurant at the bar and we had to kick him out. In the process he was screaming at us that he was goin to come back with his sons and lots of guns. We called the authorities and when they got there all we had to do is tell them the guys name and all they said was well if he does come back, which he might he was known to really do it, just shoot em all then drag them inside before we call it in and they will for sure be on our side. They were just sick of dealing with him. We stayed up the rest of the night waiting but they never did show up. Never even saw him again to be honest.

Two guys were trying to steal my boss's catalytic converter from his truck today. They were under the truck trying to saw it off, LOL. Apparently, cats are a hot ticket item in detroit.

Dam right. I spend alot of time at my buddies shop and whenever they do exhaust work if the customer doesn't ask for there cats or muffler. It's thrown in the back with a bunch of others. They make a lot of moneys when they turn them in.
