anyone know how to get an rx-8 with this color?

The only available blues in the RX8 range are :

Winning Blue
Stratos Blue

That colour there looks like a MS special, similar to the blue available on the Ser VIII FD.

 

so no way to get it yet?

 

Only if you're going to get a MS8 or you can always respray it that colour if you really like it that much.

 

Hey, where are you??? In the US the only blue available is Winning Blue. Strato is only available in Europe and Austrailasia!! Hopefully Strato will hit the US next year.

I believe that is Strato blue, available everywhere but the NA market. I would have bought that in a heartbeat...

 

Strato Blue...they make it on the Mazda3 in North America...wonder why not on the 8?

The RX8 in almost any color, sorry Green guys I aint a fan of that color, looks good but I wish the blue was darker. Tell me if you have heard or seen this done. I know, I think, that a clear coat is...well...clear, but what if they added a little black into it and then painted a winning blue RX8 with it...I wonder how it would look?

Yeah...almost exactly what I mean. I would take that blue over the wining blue, not that the winning blue is ugly cause it AINT anyday. I like that at night it will look blackish.

that is a cool color, especially with the Mazdaspeed kit.

 

I went to Japan in June and I saw a Strato-Blue RX-8 there (with the Mazdaspeed Bodykit). Without a doubt it's the color I would've wanted. Black and the Winning Blue are a far cry from it if you ask me. Mine doesn't look good compared to the one I saw there. And I think mine looks great. Heh.

 

Pretty sure the Green has the extra 10 hp :p

only way to get that color in a standard RX8 would be to take it to a shop for repaint .

I might paint my yellow that color in the near future. Still debating .

Don't get me wrong the RX8 looks good period, but we all have our favorite colors.

THANKS for the pictures...THAT RX8 looks GREAT!!!! I have given up being picky with the colors of the car since they are hard to find in FL...so, if anything, I will one day pait it hat color. THANKS!

 

the strato blue is hot! If that were out in Canada, I would have had to flip a coin to pick between that and Winning blue. I think in xmen the car was slightly darker than the strato blue (almost purple).

Anybody ever see Winning blue at night under street lights, that's a nice blue color. I'll take a pic of what I mean one day.
