So what's the current problems?

Coolant leak.
Oil Leak.
CEL.

Anything else?
And yes, you can forget about the speaker.
No one's going to own up to that one.

Take your car to a different Mazda dealer, or a private shop, and have the cooling system pressure tested to see if you can locate the source of the coolant leak, and see if it is or is not holding pressure. Also test the radiator cap.

Have a compression test done on the new motor, just so you can be sure its healthy. If it has an internal coolant leak, then you want that motor replaced ASAP.

Also, buy a tester, and see if your coils are actually in good shape.
Just because they are newish doesn't mean that they actually are functioning perfectly. Someone just recently had one bad out of the box.

BC.

Seems like both the oil and coolant leaks were fixed, although I do smell a little coolant still, maybe just remnants from filling it up spilled on something hot.

As for the CEL, this morning was interesting. When I started the car, no CEL.....then as I backed out of the driveway, I got a flashing CEL that went away and never came back. I drove 50 miles to work keeping it under 5k except for a few quick blasts to 7k or so. Car felt fine on the road, and no CEL.

I'm bringing it to my company mechanic at 12:00 to check what codes it threw this morning.

Incidentally, when I changed the fuel pump, black gas and some fine metal filings poured from the old one when we inverted it. I do think that the dealership was on to something with the fuel pump.

Ok, checked the CEL's today and got both front and rear cylinder misfires. While working on it with my mechanic and another rotor head, we noticed something odd. Is there supposed to be a gasket or o-ring around the oil filler cap?? Because there wasn't one there when we just checked. I googled oil filler cap and immediately found an oil filler cap gasket. I threw in an o-ring I had at the plant, and the idle definitely got better. I also noticed, the jackasses at the dealership left the clamp completely loose on the intake accordian, I tightened that as well.

We reset the CEL's and I took a drive, so far, no CELs!
