Deep Paint Scratches??
I am trying to find out if anyone else had deep paint scratches around the back window. I have several deep scratches on the upper right and corner of the back window. It looks like someone wedged something in at some point. The dealer is saying it is on me to fix it, but I know they were there when I got the car. Unfortunatly I can't prove it. (Car is ALWAYS garaged, not left in parking lots either)
Any one else? Also any clue on how to fix it? It is through the Clearcoat, and they said that I would have to strip layers of paint, and then blend back up.

if you want a quick job of fixing it, you can use that touch-up paint if it's a minor scratch. it shouldn't look inconspicuous if it's something small. if it's something that is pretty large, using touch up paint may make it worse, or not look very clean at all. but the best way to get it taken care of is obviously going to a body shop.
take some pix to show us the blemish(es). I too have a scuff on my 8, but that was totally my fault . I was pissed

I will definatly take some pics...it is at the dealership right now getting the two rear windows replaced because they too had scratches that they didn't notice until they tinted the windows...thats pretty much why I know the other scratches were there too. Not to mention a big chunk of wheel was scraped which they fixed as part of the sale.
